kittens everywhere!
We have recently got many many kittens. They are approaching 3 months now and would be great for them to find a home. They are friendly, happy and needs a home now. These two gingers are both girls. We also have 5 other kittens which can be seen on the website and faebook.

pretty dog goes to pretty home
A great supporter of LAP – Peggy lost her female dog recently and adopter another as a companion. The little girl she adopter is 2 and petite. Very happy ending for both. Peggy runs ‘Pet Memorial’ a personal and sensitive business to treat doggies that have passed away. The place is comfortable and uses the best of all means to ensure a loving last step. They support LAP with donations and discount to adopters.
shelties – a few of them
Two sheltie boys are looking for homes. We have Maxwell that is only a few month old, but should be a survivor of distemper. He is special and although doesn’t have special needs, he is a very happy jolly little fella that will always be a little special.
Then we have this 6 year old boy that hasn’t step foot out of the balcony since he was 1. His owner is worried he’s dirty so won’t let him in the house. Regardless of weather, this sheltie boy stays outside and never gets to go into the house or out for walks. Some days he might not get fed either.. Pls give this poor baby a home.
Little girl looking for a home
She is only 3 yrs, but was thrown out by her owners. She nearly got taken by AFCD. A volunteer took her in and she needs a lifelong home. Healthy and friendly, gets on with other doggies too! Petite little girl
Shih Tzu
Some people are so heartless. This is Macy, a 12 year old Shih Tzu that was left by owners… She has been abused by the owner’s father and after 12 yrs, thrown out. Nevertheless, she is still happy and trusting.
It’s so hard to find these aged animals a home. She is 12 and might have a good few years to live, but many people are looking for a companion to be with them longer than a few years. We can’t even take it on to foster as it’ll be hard to home and occupy a foster for another… Poor dog, through no fault of it’s own.
If you’re interested in little macy, pls give us a shout on jen@lap.org.hk
millions of kittens
We have tonnes and tonnes of kittens looking for homes. Are you looking for a kitten? This weekend, we have a litter of 3 that was found. All under the ages of 3 weeks – mother was killed in a traffic accident. The other litter is a litter of 5. All 15 days old. Lastly, a litter of 7 at 2 months old…
Then, someone calls to day she found 2 kittens aged 2 months in MongKok, but we really cannot take anymore in as we only have a window to home these babies.
If you’re looking to adopt, please contact us: info@lap.org.hk
Some kitten pix to tease a little:
Sugar Baby
Sugar was a rescue a while back with 2 cherry eyes and chunks missing from his leg. He was wary at first, but soon got the hang of life. He was quickly adopted by a young loving couple, but didn’t understand that they needed to jeopordise their relation with their own dog a little, as they were not willing to work on it, they gave sugar back in 5 days. Their resident dog didn’t like sugar. So sugar went back to the foster and now looking for a home.
Sugar – 5 year old male.
Pls give me a home —
Minka – lovely toy size Shih Tzu
Little Minka is already 7 months, but her little body still looks like she is 2 months old. She is tiny tiny and one of the smallest Shih Tzu’s I’ve come across. She is smaller than a Chihuahua! Minka is a lovely girl, affectionate and easy. Because of over breeding, she is so small that it’s hard to say if she is under weight or just like that… It’s sad how HK breeding can go to such extremes. To get ‘toy’ ‘tea-cup’ breeds, breeders don’t let mommy dog grow naturally by restricting food intake and placing it into a very small cage, too small for any movement or growth… Then, once they can have puppies 5-6 months old, they start over producing puppies and do the same for these female pups. What does this result in? Tiny breeds… What does it also result in? Suffering mommy dogs that only live a life of not enough food and no space to move to puppies that result the same.. Health problems occur to the ones that make it to a home… It then keeps going. Sad…
